An opportunity to stay in one of Gosport's original Coastguard Cottages dating from 1860.
Thoroughly modernised and refurbished to a high standard. Large lounge, dining room, kitchen with use of washing machine and dishwasher, cloakroom, two bedrooms, and one bathroom with combi bath/shower. Main bedroom can be made up as king size or two singles. Central heating. Private walled garden off lounge. Off street gated parking for one car, two cars can be arranged prior to arrival.

The space
We lived in this property for 30 years prior to building our new house next door. Currently we do not accept pets, but we have one cat and one dog living next door in our new house. We also request no children under the age of 10 stay in our cottage and No Ball Games are allowed in it's private garden.

Quiet, peaceful location. Close to beach. Ideal for walking and water sports, as well as local attractions such as Portsmouth Historic Dockyard including the Number 1 Attraction in Portsmouth the Mary Rose Museum. The Diving Museum, Submarine Museum and many others in close proximity. An ideal retreat from a busy day exploring the area.

I became an Airbnb host having refurbished our cottage (which was our home) for some 30 years. I want to provide a home from home - somewhere comfortable and relaxed where guests can enjoy the surroundings of a peaceful part of Gosport. Me and my husband work full time. He enjoys classic cars (having got one!) and the motorsports at Goodwood. I enjoy my garden and when possible diving - it's my relaxation. We have a chocolate labrador, golden labrador and a cat - it's right to say the cat loves the dogs more than the dogs loves the cat! I can't wait to welcome our guests.
