Staying in the Cabin in the Woods is like traveling back in time to Grandma’s cabin as a child. It is quiet, cozy and quaint. Conveniences include a mini fridge, a coffee maker, composting toilet and radiating heater.
There is plenty of space to take a stroll on the property & visit the animals.
Showers available in the main house. Muffins and juice for breakfast.
Recent improvements have made it warmer in the winter.
Reservations for 7 days or more are discounted but don’t include breakfast.

The space
You are welcome to walk around my property, visit with the goats and chickens, and check out my garden in the summer. There are 3 acres of pasture in the back of the property that they can walk around for exercise.

I'm just a nice lady who has raised a family and likes living out here in the country where I can enjoy a few goats, chickens, a cat and a dog. I love raising veggies in the summer and upgrading this house! I am crazy about painting old furniture and decorating my fixer upper! Although I hold to traditional Christian values, I enjoy meeting others of different faiths and beliefs. I am anxious to meet you.
