The Garage Apartment at the Fig and Pear Cottage is a unique space Just a 6 min drive to the heart of Thomasville. There are three beautiful Acres for you to enjoy. We share a boundry with the Southwestern Technical College, the Masonic Lodge and a Church. If traveling with a family dog thats clean and well behaved, it is welcome but we must know ahead . Dogs are NOT to be left alone for an extended amount of time. There is a $35 cash pet fee.

The space
It is a Garage. There is even a working garage door that on special occasions can be opened. The efficiency kitchen has a full size refrigerator, micro wave, hot plate, Insta Pot, Coffee maker, but there is no oven. The bed is Queen sized. A separate tub room has a large copper tub/shower. You do have four steep steps to go up to get to the toilet and sink in the laundry area. The laundry washer/dryer may need to be shared with long term Guests renting the downstairs and arrangements may need to be made for when laundry can be accessible. your separate room can be locked off at all times so this should not affect privacy.

Thomasville is where I was raised. I have deep roots here but have also lived in other wonderful places. in Vermont I found my niche being a host for over a dozen years with The Ugly Dog Cabin in Montpelier.
