Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house is so cosy, it deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. Besides we do like offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget. Time does not stand still in the Retro House as its theme develops along the way.

The space
Pets are allowed and as the garden is fenced, the house is ideal for many types of guests, including the four-legged kind. Remember to keep your dog on a leash outside the fenced area for the safety of your dog, the farm animals and to comply with national laws.

Parking is in the yard right next to the house and close to the entrance.

You can bike or hike in the area which consist of a variety of public walk paths for exploration, e.g. in the public plantation across the road.

I enjoy the peace and quiet and the nature around us. I recently moved from the city to the countryside and I just can’t believe I waited that long.
