The town's old fire station is not the building it was 60 years ago but the historic feel remains. Sleep and live where old firetrucks use to call home. You will use the lower level private apartment with a private entrance.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the park over looking the lake, located just one block away. See a movie at the historic town theater. Eat where the locals eat and shoot some pool located just around the corner. Enjoy the small town, slower place life style.

The space
The apartment use to be the town's fire station. At one time fireman would slide down a brass pole and into what is now the hallway between the bedroom and dinning area. The big bay windows where once large garage doors. The entrance to the house is located on the side facing the private drive.
With a little imagination, you can still hear the ringing of the fire bells. Some have said they feel and see the past, but those people also said they got a great night sleep knowing they where in company of the spirits of first responders.

Crystal is not a tourist attraction but more a resort location. Hunker down an enjoy the snowy winters in a warm cozy apartment, movie theater and bar/cafe are within walking distant. Come in the summer and join the snow birds to enjoy the town parks and the lake. Pick wildflowers that line the country highways, enjoy the many beautiful birds or gaze at the night stars. The people you will meet will be those that call the town home.
