The space
A simple and spacious room furnished with a comfortable double bed, an electric shower with unlimited hot shower, a hair dryer, and essential toiletries.
There is a refrigerator, microwave, and a kettle.
Plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, saucers and a wine opener.
Fresh milk, tea, coffee, sweet and salty snacks, and cold beer are also provided.

There is a large table for writing or to sit at while enjoying the enormous sunsets.

Just a few miles to Doolin where you can catch the ferry to the Aran Islands, and drive up the winding road to the Cliffs of Moher. Close to McGann's and O’Connors and all the traditional pubs in Doolin.
We are also close to historic Lisdoonvarna where you will find the Roadside Tavern and the Ritz.

During your stay

It is often mutually convenient for guests to let themselves into the cottage, if we are away from the house at your time of arrival. In that case, the studio is left open and the key is on the table.
If there are lights on in the house, please ring the bell and say hello when you arrive.

The directions on the Airbnb site are quite specific and easy to follow. Your GPS directions may become unreliable after you pass the hotel so please do pay attention to the directions as written.
The scenery as you approach the Ballinalacken Castle hotel from Lisdoonvarna is amazing.

It is best to arrive the first time before darkness falls. The Green Road/Burren Way is a narrow, country road that gets very dark after sundown. If you are arriving late it's best to bring your evening and morning snacks with you. You will be driving through and away from the nearby towns to reach us.

The studio will be stocked with sweet and salty snacks, cold beer and milk for coffee/tea.
