A lovely old (1935) Hen House is the basis of this little studio (Tiny House). It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.

The Henhouse is situated in a large (5000m2) garden, with plenty of open space and privacy.

Geervliet is a little quite old (city rights anno 1381) town on Voorne-Putten, nearby the beaches and dunes of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Nearby is also the beautiful old Town Den Briel (Brielle). Voorne-Putten has much to do, but is also a very country side. Attention! For our guests we have a special offer yo visit our local (international) artist, Arie Meuldijk. (painter). As a guest of our Henhouse you can visit him for free at his atelier in Geervliet and he wil received you as a guest of his own! More information? Let us know!

About Hanneke; born in Brielle 1964, married with Arie and mother of four grown up sons, with two brothers and one sister, living all over the world (USA, Germany and Australia) and working part-time as a teacher on a special education school (learning problems) and finder of the Henhouse, because I like to receive quests from all over the world and giving them a very nice welcome and a pleasant holiday time in Holland.
About Arie; born in Poortugaal, a small village near Rotterdam, has a twin brother, and four older sisters. Born in 1960, married since 1984, father of four sons and a lovely wife. Studied Human Resource Management in the Hague. Since 1997 I am a union trade leader (FNV) in Industrie, Transport en Logistics. We live in a small town, called Geervliet. Love old cars and also gardening.
