Welcome to Maria Bonita. It is a pleasure for the family to welcome you in our house. We have decided to share it with people who appreciate being surrounded by centuries-old trees, beautiful gardens and views of the Central Valley. Ideal for sharing with family or friends surrounded by vibrant nature. Perfect for adventurers or nature lovers who want to disconnect from the city.

The space
The house was designed to enjoy nature; its details manifest the love and respect for it. Due to its location that exceeds 2300 meters, we have a temperature ranging from 13 to 18 °C, making it the anteroom of the nature reserve that houses the Barva Volcano Lagoon.

The social area is large, open and welcoming. The fireplace is its central axis, with windows towards the terrace that overlooks the forest. This has a roofed area with Bbq and a dining area. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, as is the main dining room.
On the ground floor are three bedrooms, all three with electric blankets. The main one called Maria Bonita has a queen bed and a bathroom full of details, with direct access to the terrace, and views of the forest and the Central Valley. The other two, called El Oak and El Jardín, are carefully decorated rooms for an unforgettable experience. They both share a bathroom in the middle.

Upstairs, there is a bedroom in a semi-open space with two cypress wood cabins in the area. A TV room with cable signal and a full bathroom.

Due to its particular mountainous location it is not possible to have internet, which is perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. However, for any communication, the house has a landline. A person living on the property will greet you and help you orient yourself, as well as light your fireplace. The house has an intercom located in the main room, which communicates with the person who cares for the property, who speaks only Spanish.
