This is Guest Room #2 of 2 guest rooms in our home. They are situated on either side of the shared guest bathroom that has a shower, sink, and toilet. Guests have access to kitchen and laundry room.

We have an extremely accessible location to all parts of Ames. Our home is a 15 to 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to either Downtown Ames or Iowa State University. CyRide bus stop is mere steps away from our front door. Walking/Bike trails to multiple parks nearby.

The space
Our home is situated conveniently to all parts of Ames, as well as to Hwy 30 and I-35. We do live here, and we welcome you to share the beauty and space of our home. We are very flexible on all aspects of check-in/check-out; we accommodate many people who are in town for work, for extension classes at ISU, visiting friends, attending sports and entertainment events, etc. We are knowledgeable about Ames and the surrounding area. You will have peace and quiet and space to enjoy your time here.

This room has one Full bed, a desk, night stand, lamp, full closet, and two windows. Bedroom door has digital code pad for your privacy and safety. Bathroom is right next door with shower, sink, and toilet.

I like to travel the back roads trying to find the hidden wilderness that still exists, or perhaps a really cool thrift shop. Enjoy meeting new people and learning always. Treading lightly on the Earth and leaving places better than I find them is my way of enjoying anyplace, whether it be a natural area or your home that I am staying in. Penny and I travel airbnb exclusively, when possible. Our hosting style is laid back and accommodating, as we're hoping you'll find the comfort and character of our neighborhood and home as relaxing to stay in as we do. Penny and I were married in 2018 and are hosting rooms in our two residential properties. We enjoy these two homes, and we are sure you will too.
