The Casita is situated on our organic, market farm, Knopp Branch. It’s a perfect location for birding, photography, relaxing by the pool or wading and exploring in the Lavaca River. Located down the road from Edna, there is easy access to gas, groceries and a few local eateries. If you are looking to escape the city, we are about 100 miles southwest of Houston and 120 miles Southeast of Austin. This location is great for travelers visiting Lake Texana, Matagorda Island and the Gulf Coast region.

The space
Built in 2007, our beautiful Casita features reclaimed wood and tin from the original barn on the property, Louisiana Cypress floors and Mexican Tile in the bathroom. The suite has a King bed, private entrance and access to a shared library with beverage refrigerator, microwave and coffee bar. You won’t want to miss a chance to relax on the porch overlooking the citrus orchard.
