The house is ideally situated for a wonderful family holiday or getaway. It is only an hour and a half drive from Christchurch and a perfect stop over on your way to the mountains and lakes.

The space
The house is on a single level with a wonderfully large, open kitchen/dining/living area big enough to accommodate a big group in comfort.
There is a cot in the main bedroom suitable for infants.
The 4th bed in the main bedroom is a pull out trundler.
One of the bottom bunks is a double so 5 children can easily fit in the third bedroom.
There are 2 large couches in the living area that can be used as beds.
There is only one shower but it is gas powered so plenty of hot water for everyone.
There is a second toilet off the laundry.
There are 3 heat pumps throughout the house that heats up the place very quickly.
The Wifi is called Geraldine_Retreat and the password is on a fridge magnet.
The back yard is enclosed and secure once the gate is closed and bolted.

The house is on the north side of the river about 200m west of the high school. Across the road is an alleyway to the park that leads to the centre of town across a small walking bridge.
