Bait Rashid is the renovated former home of a local Qantab family, still living nearby. Private courtyard with sofas and dining table.

The space
Lovingly restored old Omani House with private en-suite bathroom for each bedroom. Spacious and comfy, over 100 square meters. Your personal outdoor space with a lounge area, table for dining and a hose to rinse off coming back from the Beach.
The cottage has a bedroom with a King bed and a second bedroom with two single beds. The living room sofas could be used by two children up to ten years of age. There is a crib for babies up to 2 years old. If required, an air mattress can be added.

Traditional, quiet village. 5 minutes away is a lively marina with an excellent restaurant and as well as the lovely village of Sidab with restaurants. The National Museum and the old Sultan's Palace are 10 minutes away and Muttrah with its lively souq and fish market are also close by.

During your stay

My place is in a 2nd cottage next to the guest cottage, and I am available when I am around or most evenings to share tips on what to visit. The place is 10 minutes from old Muttrah, yet completely private on the beach in a small village.
