HISTORICAL PROPERTY! This 1929 cabin was once used as a bunkhouse for workers on the top of Pikes Peak and moved down the mountain in 1965. Nestled on over 5 acres, bordering Mueller State Park on 2 sides of the property. Easy access right off Hwy 67, no need for 4WD.

The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware, oils, and spices. You'll feel right at home!

12 miles to Cripple Creek, 11 miles to Woodland Park

The space
This cabin is a perfect getaway for 4 people. Wood burning fireplace, 20 ft A-Frame ceiling, and open floor plan give you the perfect compromise of cozy while still having plenty of space. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, spices, cooking oils, coffee, and more. Take advantage of the outdoor grill or slow cooker for easy meals.

Enjoy the 5-acre property and take advantage of Mueller State Park (over 5,000 acres!) being your neighbor :) After a long day of exploring the mountains, you will love winding down in this cozy cabin. Movies, Games, Netflix, and WiFi will be provided. Enjoy the fireplace and each others company :) We have plenty of firewood to use during your stay.

Access to the 5 acres will require hiking up a steep hill behind the house but it is worth it! Or drive around the corner to Mueller State Park to access 55 miles of hiking trails!

Note: Cell connection can be limited at times. Verizon cell service works best. Wifi is excellent (Starlink)

This home has a security system as well as outdoor cameras.

Hi! I'm originally from Chicago and I moved out to Woodland Park in 2014. It was time to ditch the city for mountain life. I love exploring this area and especially Mueller State Park! I'm happy to recommend my favorite trails or local restaurants.
