The space
【About Guestroom】
This guestroom is on the second floor. We have only stairs.
This is a twin room (2 single size beds) on tatami (traditional straw floor). We have prepared a small refrigerator and an LCD TV.

There are another room; traditional tatami room next to this room. Two rooms are separated with only paper craft slide door, and when there are two different groups staying on the same day, we will fix the slide door frame with locks.
You can also use 2 rooms connected together if your party is consisted with many people. (up to 6 adults)

【About Restroom】
We are sorry, we haven't prepared a private toilet inside your room. We have a restroom for guests upstairs, but for we have only 2 guestrooms, you will not feel uncomfortable with the restroom because of crowded usage.

【About Kitchen】
We have a microwave, an electric rice jar, a gas heater, pans and pots available for guests.

We have also halal cooking tools for muslim guests. We don't reject non-muslim guests to use those halal equipments, but strictly prohibit to use for cooking pork, natural boar, dog meat, and any kind of alcohol included Japanese mirin and cooking liquor.

Within your walking area, there are many tourism spot with nature, such as Nishizato hot spring; "Yamasemi-no-yu" bath house (tatoo friendly), city forest park; "Yasuragi no mori", Kurokawa Camping Site and so on.
There is clear stream of the Okitsu river just behind our house, where you can also enjoy BBQ at riverside and swimming.
Okitsu river is also famous as a main fishing spot for ayu (sweetfish), so you can also make our guesthouse as the base for fishing and mountain climbing to Mafuji, Jumai, and Taka-dokkyo where you can reach from our village.

We are opening a countryside style guesthouse at a mountain village where you can enjoy beautiful scenery of four seasons with the mountains surrounding our village and the Okitsu river, which is well known as one of the clearest stream in Shizuoka prefecture. My house locates at the village called Ryogochi, at the upper area of that river.
I would like you to enjoy staying with ease, without noise of the town nor minding of the time.
We can attend our guests in English. If you would be interested in our house, please, contact us with ease.

During your stay

We are living in the guesthouse together. So if you have any inconvenience or accident, we will attend you rapidly.
We would also like to take you to sightseeing tour by our pickup van to sightseeing spots in Shizuoka and Shimizu such as Miho-no-matsubara which is a part of "Fujisan, sacred place and source of artistic inspiration" as one of the Cultural Heritages, Mt. Nihondaira and the Satta pass where you can see beautiful landscape of the Mt. Fuji and the Suruga bay, Kunozan Toshogu shrine, which is the original burial place of Tokugawa Ieyasu, who is the first Shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
We would also suggest visiting old area of Shimizu where you can enjoy photo taking with background of lots of port town atmosphere.
