Do you prefer something quiet and unique over a chain hotel? Welcome to Dreamcatcher Cottage! For less than you’ll pay for most hotel rooms, you can have a roomy, comfortable, air conditioned cottage on a private 26 acre horse farm with all the amenities of home 15 minutes from downtown Aiken, and 40 minutes from Augusta National Golf Course. Peace and quiet, the sound of native birds, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets all await you at Dreamcatcher Cottage.

The space
Natural light streams through the large windows into the 780+ square foot cottage. Three ceiling fans keep the air moving inside, and three more ceiling fans keep the breeze fresh on the 250+ square foot porch overlooking beautiful fields. The open kitchen, dining and living areas are perfect to spread out in comfort. A 55" TV, Dish Satellite and Wifi will keep you entertained. The luxurious king-sized bed and queen sleeper sofa will ensure the rest you need to start all over the next day. The huge bathroom boasts a generous shower and jetted tub. The kitchen is equipped with full size appliances (electric stove, dishwasher, disposal, microwave and refrigerator/freezer with ice and water dispenser on the door, dishes, glasses, flatware, pots and pans, coffee maker, and toaster.). Eat in or out - we are less than 15 minutes to downtown Aiken, with lots of options for restaurants and bars. Large in-ground salt pool is available to guests during summer (shared with hosts.) We also have stalls available if you want to bring your horses! Inquire about rates if interested.

My husband Duncan and I relocated to Aiken SC in 2019, to fully immerse ourselves in the wonderful equestrian community. We are both active Eventers, and have our two horses on our farm, where the cottage is located. We look forward to hosting you!

During your stay

This is a working horse farm, and we live and work on the premises with our three dogs. All gates must be kept closed at all times, and there is no access to the horse barn without permission and accompaniment. The cottage is very private and quiet. The salt pool is directly off of our house/deck, so not private, but you are welcome to use it in the summer months. If you need us, we are here to help, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay.
