Traveling and taking vacations have always been my hobby. As a foreign College student in Washington State, USA, I made traveling to other states a hobby so by my graduation date I had been to 30 states. Soon after graduation, I became an English as a Second Language (ESL)Teacher in South Korea. Here my job again ignited my curiosity for travel which saw me traveling to many other Asian destinations and, at the start of the millenium, to Australia. A few years later I took up an appointment as an English Language Teacher in Saudi Arabia and its here that my traveling expanded to the entire Gulf Middle East and over 16 African countries. I love the Caribbean and South America and many of these countries have featured in my traveling adventure in the last 10 years.
Cooking is another cherished hobby of mine. I love Caribbean cuisine and I love to eat what I put together because doing this takes away my boredom. Music is always on my daily menu and I enjoy all kinds of music that appeal to my senses.
Importantly, travelling energises the brain and also the mind. You are forced to think strategically and learn new environments. You learn to quickly adapt to new social situations and soon you will adopt the motto"a rolling stone gathers no moss"!
