Self contained, self catering holiday home with conservatory and garden overlooking unspoilt views of our beautiful Emerald Isle. Relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings on a nature based holiday.

A static caravan with vintage range, homely furniture and all the mod cons to help you enjoy your holiday.

Relax on our organic smallholding with wildlife friendly gardens, woodland, river and pond. Come and meet the hens and sheep.

Located in a lovely rural location on the edge of county Mayo.

The space
The holiday home is a static caravan which has recently been refurbished and redecorated during lockdown with comfortable new and upcycled furniture in a traditional rustic style. It's a great place to relax with family and friends and we welcome well behaved dogs.

The home has two small and cosy double bedrooms with bedside tables and storage space. Both beds have electric blankets and all bedding and bath towels are provided.

The kitchen includes a gas oven, grill and hob with plenty of pans, utensils and tableware in the cupboards. The kitchen sink has drinking water on tap. An electric fridge, toaster and kettle are provided for your convenience. There is a large pantry cupboard to store your groceries with bread bin and storage tins. Tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, salt, pepper and vinegar are also provided.

The open plan living room has a three piece suite with dining table and chairs. The table has wheels so it can easily be pulled out to the center of room to seat four for eating or playing the board games provided. There is a traditional turf fuelled vintage range which can be used to heat the home and cook on. A small smart TV is included for watching on demand programmes but not live broadcast.

There are two compost toilets, one with a washbasin in the conservatory and the main bathroom inside the caravan with electric shower, compost toilet and washbasin.

The conservatory is a bespoke building made with reclaimed materials and a wicker sofa and armchair. In addition to the conservatory seating we provide two deck chairs and two sun beds to use in the garden on sunny days. There is also a sheltered area of the garden with table and chairs (handy for smokers) and a fire pit to enjoy in fine weather with BBQ tools.

The home has Wi-Fi, mains electric and water. There is space for at least two cars to park on the grass next to the garden.

Woodgarlic Farm is a 5 acre organic smallholding where we practice permaculture, working with nature to live more sustainably and offer a safe space for wildlife. Around the holiday home we have an edible garden with fruit trees and bushes, raised beds and a veggie patch. You may see wild animals including a variety of birds (including herons, pheasants and our free range chickens), rabbits, hares, frogs, mice, bats and foxes and some interesting insects like dragonflies and butterflies, don't be surprised to find some insects trying to share your space. We have a dog and cat in the farm house who may come up to see you but shouldn't come in the home or garden.
