A fresh and cosy guest house with a sauna, with a nice sea view, located in a bay in the archipelago of Maxmo ca ½ h drive from Vaasa. For 2 adults (not suitable for children, but small infants possible). It is very well equipped and located only 15 m from the shore line. A rowing boat and 2 older bikes available for our guests. Suitable for use all around the year (electrical floor heating and A/C). The hosts are availible most of the time, and speak English, Swedish and Finnish.

The space
The guest-house size is totally ca 50 m2, 35 m2 on ground floor plus a 15 m2 loft, it has a bathroom with a sauna, a small fully equipped kitchen (fridge & freezer, electric cooker & oven, dish-washer, micro-wave owen, coffee-machine, toaster, electric mixer, etc.), a loft (bedroom) with A/C, and a surrounding teracce of ca 100 m2 with an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill. A rowing boat, life wests and 2 older bikes are available free of charge. The guest house is located ca 15 m from the shore line, and ca 20 m from the hosts house. There are jalousies in all windows, for privacy, a small TV with a limited number of channels, a radio/CD-player with some music CDs, and WiFi, are available.
The guest house is equipped with electric floor heating, an electric stove, full insulation for winter use and 3-glass windows, so it is suitable for use all around the year.
There are quite a lot of wild animals in the area, especially birds (sea eagles, swans, seagulls, etc.).
In addition to the listed articles available in the guest house we offer you free of charge:
-Bathrobes, extra towels, slippers
-Special towels for the sauna seats, and sauna fragrance liquid
-Different skin and hair care products in the bathroom
-Coffee, tea, salt, sugar and different spices in the kitchen cupboards, ketchup, oil and mustard in the fridge.
-Candles (both real and electric)
-Playing cards
-Etc.
Most suitable for couples. Spend a romantic or just relaxing holiday or week-end in a cozy and convenient guest house located in nice and quiet environment! Easy to combine with some outdoor activities like swimming, rowing, fishing, hiking, jogging, biking, skiing and skating, and even golf possible. Or just explore the archipelago by car.
The guest house is also suitable for business people as a nice alternative to a hotel, and not too far from the city of Vaasa.
We normally prefer to receive our guests personally and show them the guest house, but there is a coded key cabinet available in case of late arrival or if we are unable to meet our guests at check in.

I am an extrovert person and like to deal with all kinds of people. I like nature and living by the sea, and I am very interested in house styling and architecture and like to keep my house in good shape and clean & tidy. My husband, children, grand-children and my 2 dogs (Chihuahua) are very important to me too.
As a customer I am quite demanding - I expect to get what I asked and paid for. Therefore I also do my best to keep my guests satisfied in all respects. To me it is also important to try to adapt the service according to indiviual expectations of different guests. Quite many of our guests look for peace and quiet, and then I just give a thorough presentation of the house but after that I try to stay in the background and disturb them as little as possible, being ready to step in only if they need our help with something.
My activity as AirBNB host is actually a team work together with my husband. We are both retired, I from a career as a nurse and my husband from his career as a development engineer. We are both available most of the the time - on the phone more or less 24/7. Both of us speak & write in Finnish, Swedish and English.
