Approximately 10 miles north of Kenai in a neighborhood yet is a private wooded area. Close to Kassik's Brewery and the Stop and Go Diner. Fish then come back and relax. Short drive to several beach accesses, Captain Cook State Park, Stormy Lake, the Swanson River, or the Rec Center for a swim or hiking trails.

The space
This is a very cute, clean, remodeled cabin with neighbors but yet a private setting.

There is no WiFi or TV service in the cabin so bring your iPad. There is a TV with a DVD, HDMI, and USB ports.

There is a fire pit in the front of the cabin with all the wood you need there. ( NOT the big chunk privacy fence between the cabin and my home though - lol. This gives you privacy on the back deck.)

A freezer for fish is in the shed. Please wipe out after use if needed. Fillet your fish at the river to make sure there is no fish waste in the trash to draw animals.

Where you’ll be

Kenai, Alaska, United States

This is a country location. There are neighbors but each property has several acres so it feels private. Like most of Alaska you will see a nice home then a rather junky looking place. In Alaska we call that freedom to live how you want.

During your stay

I travel, fish, hike, and camp in the summer also so may have times I am not available. I do live right next door but try to give you your privacy and let you enjoy your vacation and Alaska. However, if you need something do not hesitate to come see me or if you want to meet a local!
