The space
Your apartment is located upstairs with its own entry in a private, secure complex. There are two separate units available in the courtyard - perfect for larger groups or families wanting separate units right next to each other.

The space is perfect for country guests wanting to stay both short or long term. Close to the football, shopping, Burswood Resort Casino and centrally located for city weddings.

The proximity to the city is one of the key reasons why people choose the apartment, and I have installed hush glass and heavy drapes to create an urban oasis. Situated within a small group of townhouses, your apartment is peacefully quiet, with a large balcony and secure keyless access. Guests often write in the reviews how calm and welcoming they find the space.

Your apartment is located within walking distance of both the Maylands 8th Avenue coffee strip and vibrant Beaufort Street. Lonely Planet has listed Maylands as Perth’s "next big thing" with a foodie buzz around the neighbourhood, particularly among the eating and drinking spots huddled on Whatley Crescent.

Beaufort Street has some of Perth’s best cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, independent stores, boutiques, fashion, homewares, music and live performances. It is filled with iconic heritage buildings and is a dynamic mix of cultures, styles and people.

The Maylands café strip has plenty of fantastic cafes and restuaruants, as well as handy amenities such as a bank, post office, bottle shop, chemist, newsagent and doctor.

I have lived in the area for many years and can highly recommend:

I grew up on a farm in country Victoria, then attending boarding school in Melbourne , I trained in hotel management hospitality industry. I owned and managed hotels in Port Hedland and Narrogin in the 80s

After selling my business and retiring in 2018, I built and furnished 3 individually designed units in a secure, garden courtyard setting to welcome and host short stay visitors and guests. My daughter and her family live onsite in the street front house. I live just 2 minutes away.

My passions are boating on the Swan River or relaxing and crayfishing over at Rottnest Island with my partner. We are active members and volunteers of South of Perth Yacht Club involved with sport of Power Yacht Time Trialling .
We plan more local and overseas cruising and travel especially exploring small islands
