Burgau is located on the edge of Costa Vicentina, is a fishing village, nowadays very visited by tourists seeking tranquility and traditions. It has a beautiful beach that stretches along the hillside, and stands out in the landscape for its colorful typical houses, providing beautiful walks by the sea. It is a beach sheltered from the wind, with blue flag and watched in the bathing season. The sea with crystalline waters invite to the practice of diving, canoeing, surfing and bodyboard among others. It is 20 minutes from Lagos (to the east) and from Sagres (to the west). Burgau is a good base for exploring the windy Algarve, while meeting other magnificent beaches nearby. You can also enjoy the good gastronomy in the most diverse restaurants located in Burgau completing with an end of night to the sound of good music and atmosphere in the bars of the village.
