This space is in a walkout basement that isn't shared with other guests. It includes two spacious bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other a double, a bathroom with tub shower, a living area with a couch and loveseat, and also a ping pong table, small air hockey table, and a treadmill for guest(s) use. There is a kitchenette with sink that includes a microwave, mini dorm+size fridge, coffee pot, and toaster oven. The closets are used for personal storage but there is an over-the-door hanger for hanging clothes on each bedroom closet door. The staircase to the upstairs area is an open one. The basement door walks out to a patio with a beautiful country view.

The space
Our home is located 23 miles northwest of Manhattan, Kansas in the country outside of Randolph, Kansas. A great place to come and enjoy quiet country life and close enough to Manhattan to enjoy city life and attend K-State sporting events, etc. We are 1-1/2 miles from Randolph State Park on Tuttle Creek Lake where there is camping, lake access, an off road vehicle park, and hiking. You may see deer, turkeys, and other wildlife.

I live with my husband Rich and we enjoy country life. We plant a large garden every year that keeps us busy in the summer. I enjoy canning the produce we grow. We enjoy kayaking at the lake nearby or going on River paddles down the Kansas River. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and enjoy meeting people. We also enjoy going to Kansas State sporting events, especially football.

During your stay

Rich and Deb live upstairs and are usually available for any questions guests have, but also respect guests privacy. We have the extra space as are empty nesters with our kids grown and now out of the house.
