This charming streamlet cottage is the perfect mountain escape from the city, located in the emerald jungles Mae Kampong village at 1300 meters above sea level and only a 1 hr. drive east of Chiang Mai city. Have 3 styles of cottage perfect for couple, families and groups of friends.

The space
The house has been fully renovated and now boasts 3 styles cottage all of which have there own private bathrooms. The house is also fitted out with a small balcony and dining area. The house has wrap around windows overlooking the surrounding forests. You can chose house for 2 guests, for 4 guests and for 8 guests.
The house is best suited for those of you who are either on holiday in Thailand or on a long weekend break and want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and spend a couple of nights relaxing in a tranquil setting and exploring the local area.
Thai village of Mae Kampong is located only 50 kilometers from Chiang Mai city. Nestled on a hillside, 1300 meters above sea level and surrounded by pristine forest, Mae Kampong has a cool and pleasant climate. Ban Mae Kampong has become an offbeat retreat for travellers looking to escape the commercialism of Chiang Mai and rediscover the village way of life.
Mae Kampong village is surrounded by tea plantations which successive generations have woven into the verdant natural landscape. Tea trees grow alongside Arabica coffee, herbal medicines and the stunning natural forest.
A small stream meanders through the village. Water flowing gently past the typical wooden houses creates an enchanting atmosphere, in particular during the quiet of evening.

Transfers from any location in Chiang Mai city can be arranged. We can also provide a few privately escorted tours in the local area, these include; hiking to local waterfalls, hot spring visits, hill tribe village tours and zipline canopy tours. Prices for all of the above depend on the amount of people in the group.

It's very nice place. It's an ideal location to go anywhere without much of a rush. Not a commercial area, you get to know about local life. Some lovely food and drink places.
