A short drive from Whangarei, this new modern cottage is set within an avocado orchard. It is sunny, warm and quiet, providing a calm and relaxing environment away from the urban hustle. The cottage is fully self-contained and suitable for short or longer term stays. It is ideally situated for day trips to the Kauri forests near Dargaville and to Northland's stunning Bay of Islands. Day trips to nearby beaches are a must, particularly in the warmer months.

Surrounded by avocado trees and native plantings, the orchard is a haven for kereru (wood pigeons), tui and many other bird species. Quests are likely to wake up to the sounds of pukeko calling and rabbits bouncing across the front lawn.
