A delightful beach studio unit with a spa. It has shabby chic decor, full kitchen and separate bathroom. Across the road from world famous rock fishing and a lovely shingle beach. Literally 2 minutes walk from a sandy swimming beach and a grassy picnic area with a boat ramp as well.

The space
This is a fastidiously clean unit with kitchen allowing you to self cater. It has a super king bed that has the option to be split into 2 singles if guests prefer. We are a friendly fun loving couple and live upstairs. We have a great knowledge of the area and can help you with local information and activities, maybe even join us for a pre-dinner drink.

Welcome to Tapeka View! We’re located at Tapeka Point at the entrance to the world famous Bay of Islands. Tapeka Point is approximately a 3 hour drive from Auckland and just two kilometers form the historic village of Russell. Before the Europeans settled in New Zealand the area was a Maori Pa (fortification) but these days we call it home and invite you to stay at our beautiful beachview property.

Tapeka boasts two beaches ideal for fishing, swimming and other water sports It has a boat ramp for launching boats. Watch passing Orcha whales if you are lucky or swim with the wild Dolphins off the beach. Nearby is Kauri Cliffs, Waitangi, Kerikeri and other world class golf courses. Visit the famous “Hole in the Rock” at Cape Brett, a popular way to view the Islands of the Bay, take a day sail or sit back, relax and watch the endless parade of boats passing by. There’s also an abundance of great walking tracks in the area and it’s the perfect base from which to explore Northland.
