Soenam La Homestay in Gangtok, Sikkim is a place for comfort and relaxation in a homely atmosphere amidst the lush greenery of the nature. We have taken a baby step in the hospitality industry and want to share the beauty of miles and miles of forests of Himalayas with travelers or weekend visitors who need a rejuvenation away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. Without exaggerating anything just want to invite all of you to spend a day at our Homestay.

The space
Our place is located 9 km (25-30 min drive) for main town i.e MG Marg, Gangtok. A perfect escape form city traffic & crowd. Place is open, surrounded by green mountains with a perfect scenic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from all the corners.

Soenamla homestay has one of the greatest neighbourhoods in the city to live in; however it does have its draw backs(cold winter). Importantly it has nearly everything a resident might want, beautiful picturesque scenery, and many of the tourist attraction centres. Nevertheless the roads can be some of the most congested in town, and the streets are not safe to walk late at night. Fortunately, here we wake every morning with the most beautiful mountain views. One can sit on my porch sipping coffee, drink in an atmosphere that steals ones breath away. Rolling hills lay before that undulate until they crash into golden purple mountains. They are covered in spectacular fauna, ever blooming foliage, and trees that are heavy with wild flowers & fruit.
It is also knows as one of the safest and most quiet places, because it is populated by good neighbors.

The local residents are really friendly and helpful, and we have developed long-lasting friendships and get on really well together.
In terms of local amenities, it is great place(neighborhood) because it is really close to a natural tourist attraction places , restaurants, and leisure centers.
Furthermore, it is only 25-30 minute by car to reach main town (M.G Marg),Viewing the natural beauty and Mt.kanchenjunga range on the way makes commuting more pleasant and exciting.
