Highfield Barn is a self-contained loft snug above the old barns, attached to our Georgian house. You have a private entrance and key code - easy check-in.
This is a family house with Jack Russell’s but the Barn is in a quiet setting to the left of the the main house. The Barn overlooks the Mendips and the garden, which has sea views. 10 min walk to the High St & 6 min to waterfront pub ‘The Windmill’. Driveway parking, WiFi and the property is secured with electric gates.

The space
Highfield is a family house on a hill in the town which looks out to the estuary. You have a large 24 x 14 feet studio Barn plus ensuite with shower room.

Fresh towels and toiletries are provided in addition to tea and coffee and a mini fridge with milk. Please bring extra bottled water if needed as we provide two small bottles.

King-size bed and nice views over the garden. The room has a scandi, airy and bright designer feel and is newly refurbished. It’s light from 6 am and the birds here are tweeting as the garden is full of them, so please bring eye mask and ear plugs if you’re a very sensitive sleeper. The king-size bed has a comfy memory foam mattress.

There is free Wi-fi. There’s also a put up desk if you need to work.

The Wi-fi is the top broadband so bring an iPad or laptop if you need your Netflix. No TV in room.

Room will have all surfaces anti-bac’d and the barn has a separate entrance. CV19 safe.

** Please note that there is not a full kitchen in the barn just a simple coffee point - for longer lets the main house kitchen may be used (please enquire)

Also note we are on a hill - it’s about 15-20 minute incline from the marina. You can taxi back up if needed.

The driveway offers secure gated parking for small to normal sized cars - not suitable for vans / trailers etc. Please park by the little log saying AirB P.

Clifton (9 miles by car) is a beautiful, Georgian suburb of Bristol with many interesting cafes, bars and restaurants. Parking there requires the RingGo app. You can also visit the observatory, Clifton suspension bridge and nearby Ashton Court is great for a picnic or cafe stop.
