No contact check in. Private entrance with keypad. Full service kitchen with fridge, stove, Keurig, toaster oven, cookware, dishes and utensils. Close to shopping, restaurants, Altoona Hospital, Penn State Altoona, Bland Park, Horseshoe Curve, Canoe Creek, 40 minutes to Penn State University Park, 30 minutes to Blue Knob Ski Resort. 2 miles to I 99 and US 22.

The space
Private apartment with private entrance. One bedroom, bathroom with tub/shower combo, family room, kitchen and patio with table and chairs.
The bedroom has a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress. 2 sets of sheets, blackout curtains and an outlet with an usb charger built in next to the bed.
Bathroom is supplied with plenty of towels, hair dryer and a first aid kit.
The family room has a large flat screen tv with an amazon firestick and access to Hulu and Hulu Live. Games puzzles and adult coloring books and extra blankets.
Weather permitting there is a table with chairs on the private patio where you can enjoy a quiet dinner or a glass of wine.
The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, gas stove, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven and crock pot. It also is well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, dishes and a small table.
NEW FOR 2021 a washer and dryer have been added to the guesthouse!

My husband Joe and I moved to Pennsylvania from Maryland in September 2017. We have 7 adult children between us and 5 grandchildren. All of them live in Maryland. We share our house with two rescue cats and one large Great Pyrenees dog.
