Llewellyns Haven City Residence is a high end, comfortable and private family- sized residence. It is built on a 3/4 acre grounds of a 19th century bungalow which was home for public officials of the colonial government of St Kitts.

Great for corporate or leisure travel; perfect for a group of 3-6 adults, church groups travel etc.

We are 3-10 minutes from downtown Basseterre.

NB. All Covid 19 protocols are applicable for guests and the host.

The space
Our place is gated and has security mechanisms in place. But because your safety and privacy is important to us, we also provide keys for each bedroom. Amenities for your stay include:-
• A functional kitchen on main floor.
• Spacious dining area with 2 dining room tables to accommodate 8-12 persons.
• The living room has a classic British Colonial style
• Additional sitting areas are located on the other floors.
• Each of the 3 available bedrooms is fitted with an ensuite bathroom and a queen-sized bed.
A separate unit is also located on ground floor with its own entry , a kitchenette, a full size bed and a bathroom.

THE WAR MEMORIAL - erected to honour the men who died in the First World War. Every November, a spectacular official military ceremony takes place here.

The ST KITTS BRANCH OFFICE of the RED CROSS SOCIETY is a few steps away.

The BASSETERRE HEALTH CENTRE and PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT are a few steps down the street.

The UNIVERSITY CENTRE AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE occupy an area at the western end of the Bay Road, just east of the War Memorial.

The CLARENCE FITZROY BRYANT COLLEGE (CFBC) is a street away. The main campus at Burdon Street accommodates the central administration offices and the Divisions of Arts, Sciences & General Studies, Health Sciences, Teacher Education, Adult and Continuing Education, Hospitality Studies and Culinary Arts.

FISHERMAN’S WHARF -one of the island’s most renowned restaurants. Located a cool walk away from Llewellyns Haven and steps from the War Memorial. Especially known for its fresh fish and the famous conch chowder.

THE VERANDAH at the Ocean Terrace Inn is open for breakfast and lunch daily and dinner six evenings each week.

The Village Bistro is a located on Wigley Avenue (several steps away) serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Other local eateries serving West Indian take outs are also nearby.

Several religious congregation also gather for worship in close proximity.

I have lived abroad for varying periods of my life and travelled to many places such as other Caribbean islands, Canada, the USA, Latin America, Asia and the UK for studying, business, visiting family or friends. I like to travel and would like to do some volunteer travel in the future. My favourite travel destination has been the UK. I especially enjoyed the ease of travel, the relaxed lifestyle of the country-side and herbal tea. I cannot live without my tea (and ginger biscuits if I have). I like a variety of music but I enjoy soul (R&B) and Reggae most. I appreciate what it is like being away from home and understand how to make a stranger feel welcomed. I believe in treating all people with compassion and respect and expect the same.
