Welcome to our slice of paradise in Herbertville, which is somewhere* between the Wairarapa and the Hawkes Bay.

Our holiday home has sea views and the beach is just a short stroll away. The Cape Turnagain course borders the front boundary.

Herbertville is a great, rural beach community. There’s an excellent pub and the beach is sublime (and is often deserted - except for the odd seal)! It’s the perfect spot for a quiet weekend for two or a family holiday.

Things to do include:
- Play golf at the Cape Turnagain Golf Club, which is just over the fence.
- Visit the beach for a walk or a swim. There are excellent walks both north and south of the township.
- Fish by surf casting off the beach.
- Visit the seal colony at Cape Turnagain.
- Explore the sand dunes south of the township.
- Have drinks and dinner at Beach Haven Inn (Herbertville) or Duke of Edinburgh Hotel (Porangahau).
- Visit the longest place name in the world.
- Relax, relax, relax.
