Marie has live in Alaska for 30 years. She is a potter and her work is featured in the Homer Clay Works, located on the Homer Spit. Mark has lived in Alaska 24 years. When not off on an adventure, He helps people with chronic pain. When we travel, we look for clean, quite, affordable lodging. We think you will find all of those attributes in the Sprucewood Cabin. Check out our guidebook for things to do and places to eat while you visit Homer. We can also offer suggestions on outdoor activities around the Kenai Peninsula.
Mark built the Sprucewood cabin in 2000, as a wood working shop. All the timbers in the cabin were harvested from trees on the property. During the winter of 2013, He began the renovation of the wood shop into a vacation rental. The cabin was listed on Airbnb in 2014 and we are grateful for all the positive feedback we have received.
