Charming chalet in peaceful location in Golden Square, 5 minute walk from the Bendigo Stadium. Upstairs room with tree lined views, close to two bus routes and places to eat.

The space
One of the more unique houses in Golden Square, this chalet style cottage is Swiss designed, and inspired by their ideals of low impact, sustainable living.

The guest room is quite narrow, but has good depth and plenty of room for suitcases and clothes, both in floor and wardrobe space. The TV is connected to a Chromecast device capable of streaming video and music from your smartphone.

You will be situated within a short walk from the famous Goldmines Hotel, specialising in local craft beers, a range of blues and comedy acts, and one of the Top 10 best beer gardens in Australia.

Within an even shorter walk is the Bendigo Stadium. As well as hosting large sporting, music, and conference events, the stadium is a great place for a casual meal and a drink.

Buses #54 and #55 depart within a 5 minute walk. Both of these buses will take you to the Bendigo City Centre/Station via the famous View Street Arts Precinct. This precinct includes the Bendigo Art Gallery, Ulumbarra Theatre, Capital Theatre, as well as numerous cafes, restaurants, and boutiques.

The city centre is a half hour walk away or a 5-10 minute drive. Parking in Bendigo is generally cheap/free and easy to find. Free undercover onsite parking is available for one car, any others will need to park on the street.
