Hi we are Barry & Pam - happy, married and we love the beach, own one cat, run a small art gallery and enjoy sharing this special part of New Zealand with visitors. Pam is a midwife and Barry an engineer with the local council. We enjoy a pristine environment, a wonderful beach where you can swim in the waves, fish, ride a horse or just stroll and leave all your cares behind. We have three adult children and 4 grand children.
Tokomaru Bay is one hour north of Gisborne. A smallish community of about 500 and boasts a great beach, old ruins to explore and plenty of coastline to enjoy. We first visited Toko 44 years ago and now we live here - nothing seems to change, we kind of like that!
Just in front of our BnB is an old 1926 billiard hall we are renovating to one day be our home - in the mean time we have an art gallery and studio in the front.
The BnB is just over the road from the beach - you walk out of the front door past the billiard hall and straight over a quiet road onto the beach. Love it so much we thought perhaps you might also.
