The space
These cozy rooms are situated on the second floor of my house with own entrance and privacy. My children use to live upstairs but after they have moved on their own I renovated the place for guests. Now there is own entrance, bathroom and little kitchen for guests to use.The kitchen has an oven, stove, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster and all necessary kitchen utensils. I live myself downstairs with my dog Leo. I make delicious breakfast on weekends which is served in my kitchen. There is nice traditional sauna on the yard and hot tub for relaxation. From our yard, there is a spacious landscape that continues directly into the forest and into the wilderness. There is good place to watch auroras in winter evenings. The river Vaajoki flows just front of the house.

grocery store, school for children, vocational school for agricultural, many farms and other companies. Near by the village there is very special nature park (Kätkävaara) with some hiking trails.

In my opinion, life should be easy-going; so that we just are here and now and are able to meet one another genuinely. Fortunately, such is life here in Lapland. During your stay

I like to meet my guests in person when they arrive to give the keys and to show how everything in the apartment works and answer any questions you might have. My place is easily reached by car or by bus. I can also pick you up from the train station from Tervola or with additional cost from nearest airports; Kemi or Rovaniemi. I am available during your stay 24/7 at home or by the telephone while I am working elsewhere.
