My name is Mohammed Zedane from the Al-Zalabieh Bedouin tribe in Wadi Rum. My family has lived in the desert for generations and we're happy to now introduce tourists to our beautiful landscape and ancient traditions.

The Wadi Rum Protected Area Camp is located in the beautiful desert of Wadi Rum. We guarantee that you will fall in love with the star-lit night sky and the red and white desert areas that emit a deep sense of peace and tranquility.

The space
The Bedouin tents are all made of 100% goat hair that is both wind and waterproof, and equipped with doors, windows, beds, lightning and a power outlet to charge your device (solar-powered). The beds are provided with mattresses, pillows and blankets. The windows offer a beautiful view of the surrounding desert landscape.

Each tent is located within 100 m of the shared bathroom facilities and the communal tent, where you can socialize and enjoy your meals together with other guests inside a beautiful and traditionally decorated space.

The Camp is located 17 km far from the Wadi Rum Visitor Center and 11 km far from the Wadi Rum Village. It is located deep inside of the protected area of the Wadi Rum Desert. You will enjoy views of Jebel Khazzali, Jebel Qattar, Jebel Rum, red and white Desert and the Valley of the Moon.

It takes 2 1/2 hrs to arrive here from the Wadi Rum Village by foot, 3 hrs by Camel and 20 mins by Jeep. If you have your own 4x4 Jeep, you can arrive by yourself, otherwise we can pick you up at the Village and take you to the Camp and back for an add-on expense.

There is a mountain behind our Camp from where you can watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise. Please note that we are in the desert and internet or phone signals are barely accessible. Therefore, it is the perfect space to take a break from everyday life, watch the beautiful landscape and count the shooting stars crossing the star-lit night sky.
