Where you’ll be

Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada

The Cottage is located on a pointe of land with water on both sides. It is unique because of the location to St. Mary's River leading into Lake Superior shipping channel. On misty days or nights the ships communicate by fog horn to navigate the water. A Ship book of the Great Lakes and their schedules is located in the sun-room.
Pointe Louise and surrounding area is perfect for long walks. You can easily make your way to trails and beaches in Marks Bay Conservation Area. A beautiful different view for Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

My husband Rick and I have lived in this area for 30 years. We enjoy what the surrounding land and water have to offer. We like to unwind at the cottage
particularly watching the wildlife and freighters going by, cooking outdoors, kayaking, canoeing and long walks. We enjoy cycling and have bicycles to use during your stay as well. The Cottage is a perfect retreat to relax. We love meeting new people, adventure and travel to new places.
We'll meet you when you arrive here, show you around and then give you total privacy unless a problem comes up. We live only a few minutes walk away and will help you enjoy your stay here in any way you request.
