The peace and quiet and less than 5 minutes drive to town where there's great bakeries, cafes, newsagent and supermarkets. We often have lots of kangaroos nearby grazing. Charleville has more than 20 things to see & do including the Cosmos Centre Observatory, Bilby Centre, WWII tour, Historic House & Check Out Charleville Town Tour where you'll hear about the floods, fires, heritage buildings and much more.

Graham & I own Charleville Bush Cottage which is set on 40 acres just 2km from the heart of town. We also offer tours through our business Travel West. These tours include a 10-day Air Safari to Central Australia & the Kimberley, Birdsville Race Package by Air from Brisbane, Big Red Bash Air Package, 2-Day Lake Eyre packages from Brisbane (when there is water in the lake), 4WD Motel Accommodated Tag Along Tours to Birdsville Innamincka and the Corner Country and our latest tour in includes the Outback Way, Pilbara & Kimberley and our brand new Outback Queensland Stations Tour. We love travelling and sharing our experience with others...Australia's Outback is vast and so interesting.
We are also kept busy from April - November with Charleville Bush Caravan Park which caters for non-smokers only and no pets.

Happy to interact with guests when we're home and not on tour or they are welcome to join other guests at our caravan park (short walk from cottage) around the large campfire (April - Oct)
