Your own private accommodation on Tuggerah Lake. I love to share my home with easy-going people who love animals. Feel free to bring your own, or you can share mine! The studio is self-contained and has all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. It has a comfortable queen bed; the open living area includes a kitchenette, sitting area and TV lounge area The ensuite bathroom has a washing machine available for use. Close to shops, beaches, lakeside bike track and all local amenities.

The space
The guest studio apartment is very comfortable and has its own entry. The access into the apartment is level. To get to the lake edge, it is a simple walk down the side of the house and out the back gate to the water. The studio has one queen bed. It has a split-system air conditioner so you will be comfortable all year round. The large open living area has a kitchenette, sitting area and TV lounge area. The kitchenette has microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and a good selection of crockery, cutlery and cooking implements, so you can self-cater if you wish. There is a small cupboard with a few drawers and some hanging space for clothes. Iron available. For breakfast there is cereal, bread, milk, tea and coffee. Location: The house is on a quiet street in Chittaway. It is at the end of the bike track that runs all the way to The Entrance. A children's play ground is close by. Things to see and do: It is worthwhile going to see the pelican feeding at The Entrance, or visit the Australian Reptile Park, or go for a horse ride at Glenworth Valley. Toowooon Bay and Shelley Beach are about 10 to 15 minutes away. Another fun thing to do is to take a cruise on the Brisbane Water.

Chittaway is a very quiet area, with easy access to the M1. The things that you will love about Chittaway are the lovely lake views, beautiful walks along the foreshore, varied and changing birdlife. It is close to surfing beaches. Only 10 minutes walk away is the local shopping centre that includes Coles supermarket, butcher, bread shop, take-away shops, chemist, tavern, newsagency. It is also close to Mingara Club which has a gym, olympic pool and children's pool. Bateau Bay and Tuggerah Shopping Centres are also within easy reach by car or bus.

I have lived on the Central Coast for just over forty years. I've been on acreage most of that time, but now just love living on the lake. It is great to wake up each day and look out on the swans or other bird life and fun to see if I can spot a jumping fish.
I have been blessed living in this great location and enjoy sharing my home with others. I enjoy the company of my little dog, and still get to ride my horse most weeks. My hobbies include family and local history, sewing, reading and visiting friends in the area.

During your stay

Privacy: You can have as much or as little privacy as you wish. The guest area is completely self-contained, but of course it would be great to have a chat over a cuppa.
