Support the arts! Stay in this former church parsonage built in 1887 now owned by a rural multi-arts center with a theater and gallery space in the church next-door. Four bedrooms on the 2nd floor with a full bath & common space. First floor has one bedroom, dining, living, family room, kitchen, half bath, washer / dryer room. Furnished with basic amenities. Used as artist housing between bookings. Historic Downtown Springville. Walkable to movies, restaurants, shopping. Great for a large group.

The space
This is a very old house and it shows its age proudly. Cosmetic imperfections include very old wall paper, hard water, outdated kitchen cabinets, etc. - the kind of things that makes your stay unique, otherwise you'd be looking at a stale motel. It is important to us that you know what to expect. Your stay will be comfortable with lots of room to spread out.

It's got that old house vibe...well worn...a comfort to those who like that environment....just a little quirky or maybe more than a little.

The furnishings are adequate for a stay with couches, desk, an old piano etc. but nothing resplendent. This is going to work great for a family or larger group and is priced to match the large amount of space but low-key vibe (note the nightly rate increases by $20 per person per night above 5 guests). The kitchen has with plenty of room and has everything you need to be able to cook while here (short of the food).

Owned by Springville Center for the Arts (SpringvilleArts.org), your stay supports this nonprofit arts center. Before/after your stay the space may be hosting Grammy award winning fiddle players or theater performers. The Parsonage is a huge hit with artists.

During your stay

We greet our guests and give them the space. We're ready to deal with any issues or provide tips on things to do but mostly we just leave you to it and only come around when needed. Both staff members of the organization that owns the building live a block away.
