Built at the rear of an Edwardian house in this quiet residential street in Salisbury this award winning contemporary building is unique.
The alternating stairs do not make it suitable for those with a mobility impairment or children under 8

The space
Modern and contemporary, the outlook is into the branches of an Japanese Maple making the little house feel like a tree house. You can sit in the house and watch the birds feeding a family of goldfinches ,nuthatch , gold crests, long tailed tits and occasionally a lesser spotted woodpecker.
We have been re wilding our garden quite successfully and this year have attracted many bee species and dragonflies. The garden does look a bit ‘wild ‘ but also very beautiful at times .
We are within 20 minutes by car from Stonehenge . The cathedral is a 15 minute walk as is the Station. The town centre is 10 minute walk.
There is a wet room shower with basin and WC. Quality organic shower gel and shampoo/ conditioner is provided.
As well as the combination oven and microwave there is a single induction plate .
The washing machine is in the main house , this facility is offered to guests staying over 3 nights . We do not have a tumble dryer.

Our neighbourhood is friendly and (URL HIDDEN) is safe with an extremely low crime rate. There is a large Waitrose ( grocery store ) a 7 minute walk away where everything can be found. There are regular buses into town and of course taxis if needed.

We are semi retired couple Kate and Jamie.
We like wine, art, music, films and travel.
We enjoy sharing our home and have successfully hosted guests through 'home exchange ' and young opera stars when the Celebrate Voice Festival is taking place in Salisbury.
We use Airbnb for most of our travels and have grown to love the experience. We like the flexibility it offers and have made many friends (hosts with Airbnb )
Airbnb asked 'do we have a life motto'? I think ours is 'always be open to new experiences', as meeting new people can broaden horizons.

We can always be available if our guests need us for any reason otherwise we leave guests to their own devices. In other words we try never to impinge on guests space .
We have 2 pets Connie the dog and Percy the cat . You may see them in the garden but they are not allowed in the Studio.
