A unique quiet, compact and cosy studio 'bedsit' guestroom, compact but very well appointed. I attempt to provide all you might need: if you are looking for minimalism, I suggest you look elsewhere!
The entire apartment comprises the ground floor and basement of an early 19th Century townhouse, part of a listed elegant Regency terrace. Set within a peaceful walled garden, it is in within minutes of the town centre, a ten minute walk from the seafront and the IOW hovercraft.

The space
The futon is single. You may use the extra futon and/or floor mattresses, but please bring sleeping bags for these. A small additional charge is requested for additional guests.

Portsmouth and Southsea are very friendly places, and there is much to see and do. The town, the sea, historical Old Portsmouth, and the ultra-modern Gunwharf are all within walking distance, as is the university . The Isle of Wight is a hovercraft sail away.

Waitrose is along Marmion Road: turn left out of main entrance, carry on to St Jude’s Church, turning left and dog-legging into Marmion Rd on your right. Waitrose is two minutes walk away on your right hand side.

Me? I suppose I’m a nature-girl really...I love all things natural: animals, birds, insects (not house flies nor moths!), plants, natural fibres and fabrics, leather, silk, wool, texture, colour...good food and drink (not too much!)
Although I work in multi- media, I’m into textiles at present, creating and selling ethical apparel, inspired by regular winter escapes to India (I really am a sun-worshipper).
My dream would be to spend a year travelling/sailing around and exploring the Med, soaking up all the culture and sensory delights it has to offer. At present I’m enjoying all my cosmopolitan houseguests.
