Lovely victorian with a broekie lace veranda a short walk from the beach. Set against the mountain, looking across the wetland and onto False Bay and the ocean nearby.

A private entrance gives access to a guest suite consisting of a spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom and separate kitchen area.

The room is furnished with a victorian fourposter bed, an antique wardrobe, a couch, a table and chair, TV monitor and Wi-Fi .

Meals can be prepared in the kithenette suitably equipped.

The space
Close to nature with cool sea breezes in summer, a feeling of space, openness and lovely views describes the space. Ideally situated for outdoor lovers and explorers and curiosity browsing in quaint villages such as Kalk Bay or Simon's Town.

Scenic cycling routes are on our doorstep from where you can cycle the Cape Peninsula including Cape Point nature reserve, Silvermine and Chapmans Peak.

Swim or surf our lovely beaches, Glencairn, Fish Hoek beach, Simonstown to Kommetjie and Muizenberg.

Dive centres and sea cruises in and around False Bay operate from Simonstown. Go whale watching or shark cage diving. The Marine Reserve offers spectacular diving close to the shoreline.

Lovely hikes can be done up surrounding mountains to view our floral kingdom of fynbos and walking along the coast is a safe and popular past time.

From your apartment it is a short stroll downhill for a beer and burger or the best breakfasts and coffee. Across the vlei find snacks and bread.

Out of the bustle of traffic and crowds but close enough for all you want to see and do.

Glencairn is a fiendly neighbourhood and used to consist of sea side cottages overlooking a lagoon which is now a vlei since the sea was restricted by the road.

Residents regularly walk to the beach carrying their surfboards canoes, surfskis or bodyboards or just walk their dogs.

Children still play in the street sometimes and residents look out for the safety of one another.
