Kjørsvik Øvre is an old family farm in Kjørsvika, a beautiful bay on the brink of the fjords and the open sea. The farmhouse continues a separate flat for guests with a little library and a dining room with an open fire. For equestrians we offer riding lessons in dressage, historical combat riding, trailriding, cavalery exercise and elements from Working Equitation. National Tourist Routes of The Atlantic Road and Geiranger-Trollstigen are easily within our reach.

The space
Kjørsvika is a peaceful and beautiful spot right before the great shores of Hustadvika with the fishing village of Bud and The Atlantic Road. From the house there is a fine view to the beach belonging to the farm and the impressive mountain panorama across the fjord. The old farmhouse is surrounded by a garden and a little forest. Here you can take your morning coffee on the stairs outside and have a nice evening by the fireplace outdoors or inside. You may enjoy going down to the sea grilling your catch of the day by the boat house, or even find something to cook from the vegetable garden.

Møre og Romsdal is a magnificent county with adventures around every corner: Molde, town of jazz (international jazz festival week 29 every summer), football and roses , Ålesund, Kristiansund, Trollstigen, Romsdalseggen, Atlanterhavsvegen, Håholmen, Bud, Trollkyrkja with its great marble caves), Bjørnsund (boat from Harøysund or Bud), spectacular mountains and seaside summer and winter. There are easy accessible coastal paths and more challenging mountain hikes just around the corner.

If you on the other hand prefer a couple of days on the property and its immediate surroundings, absolutely no problem to find things to experience right here.

We live at the other side of the house and are normally available for questions and a chat. It is a working farm and we will sometimes to our chores outside.
