Experience family life with us in Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua. We offer comfortable private rooms with bedding, access to shower, bathroom and kitchen. We have a seperate house with two rooms and one room available in the main Building. Additional rooms can also be made available for larger groups. Lunch and dinner are available for purchase. We speak only Spanish so it is the perfect opportunity to learn the language and culture of Nicaragua. We can also arrange art or cooking courses in Mozonte.

We are a busy Nicaraguan family of 4 (father, mother and 2 sons) and we have been hosting people from all over the world for the last four years.

We live 10 mins walk away from the quiet and relaxed village of Mozonte. It is safe to walk around at any time and there are lots of things for tourists to do. There is free WIFI in the park in the center of the village. The connection is quite good. Other things for tourists to do here include visits to pottery workshops where you can buy traditionally made pottery. Also, pine-needle art workshops, in which the artists show you how to make jewelry and other accessories out of pine needles. There are also lots of opportunities to go hiking through beautiful unspoiled wilderness. You will see a lot of beautiful birds!

During your stay

While we are at work there is always someone available to prepare meals for you. Portions are generous and we use fresh, local ingredients. We usually prepare typical Nicaraguan food. Breakfast is included, lunch is available for 50-60C$, and dinner for 40-50C$. If you do not want breakfast that is included, have a look on our second offer in Airbnb which comes without breakfast.
