Our approx. 90 m² large, bright and friendly apartment is located on the ground floor, is barrier-free, completely newly renovated and high-quality equipped. It includes an open kitchen, dining and living area with exit to the terrace and magnificent views of the garden with water stone and old ash that provides natural shade. Toilet and bathroom are separated, the latter has a big shower and bathtub. Despite the quiet location, the nearest supermarket is only about 500 m away.

The space
Our apartment was completely redesigned in 2016/17, walls were relocated, the entire pipeline network was renewed and high-quality oak wood floors were laid in all rooms. The new kitchen has stove, ceramic hob, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and everything necessary cooking and dining utensils. Where you’ll be

Schönberg, Bayern, Germany

Due to its mild climate and its southern-looking marketplace in the Inn-Salzach style, the more than 750-year-old Schönberg market has been nicknamed the "Merano of the Bavarian Forest" for over 100 years. From our house several paths lead to our local mountain, the 700 m high Kadernberg, on which there is a 30 m high lookout tower with a wonderful panoramic view - in appropriate weather all the way into the Alps - and a cozy tower with an observation terrace. In the nearby first German National Park, you can meet moose, wolves, lynxes, bears in the animal free marriage or learn interesting facts about our forests in the Hans-Eisenmann-Haus. A walk on Germany's longest treetop trail with the famous "Baumei" rounds off an eventful national park day. Our project "Wandering without Borders in the Heart of Europe" was honoured as a federal winner in Berlin in 2019. Eight national park municipalities have joined forces with 13 Czech border municipalities for this purpose and have redesigned their network of hiking trails. Nearby there are eight tours with different lengths and difficulties, e.g. to the reservoir, Wackelstein, an abandoned village, along the Ohe or Ilz (2003 River Landscape of the Year). But Rachel, Lusen or three chairs also want to be climbed. Cool down in our "EBS" with an 86 m long water slide, diving tower, children's pool with awning, etc.
A visit to the nearby Pullman City, the museum village of Bayer, is a must for Western enthusiasts. Wald am Dreiburgensee gives an insight into how people used to live here. A visit to the three-river city of Passau (only 36 km away) with a visit to the beautiful Baroque cathedral with the world's largest church organ and a three-river boat tour remains unforgettable. In nearby Bohemia, the town of Krumau (World Cultural Heritage Site, approx. 90 km) and the Vltava Lake are other worthwhile destinations.
In winter, the eastern slope of the Kaderberg invites you to alpine skiing with a dwarf lift, demanding skiers can find lifts in Langfurth on Brotjacklriegl or a little further in the ski center Mitterfirmiansreuth or on Arber (World Cup track) 15 km away. For cross-country skiers, there are many perfectly groomed trails to choose from in the vicinity. Whether hiking in snowshoes or on cleared paths through the snowy forest is always a special experience.
