Lucky Stars sits on 7 beautiful, native acres, tons of wildlife, just ten minutes from Boerne, with stargazing at its best! Upscale on a small-scale, 200 sf with fully-equipped kitchen, on-level Queen master bed, Smart TV, WiFi, full-size bathroom, outdoor living/shower on the deck, and more. Loft space has handmade linen/wool mattress (2 Twins or King). Built on DIY’s Tiny Luxury 2017-Season 3 Ep.3. Long-termers and short-termers always welcome.

The space
This tiny cottage was newly constructed in 2017 and is ideally suited for 2 guests, but can handle up to 4 sleepers. (Please, no kids under 12). Tiny design doesn’t skimp on space. Tall ceilings and lots of outdoor living make this little house feel like grand living with some exceptional peace and quiet. Lots of attention to detail to help travelers settle in quickly and feel completely comfortable.
This is a rural area with rugged acreage. Thus, its very serene. You'll view beautiful birds and animals, and the dark skies at night make clear night stargazing spectacular from the deck. You may even be "off the grid," as cell coverage is limited with a number of the carriers. Internet calling and texting is available, if the peace and quiet is too much.

"Lucky Stars" tiny house is central to all things Hill Country. Located on a branch of the Texas Wine Trail, you'll have quick access to award-winning wineries, breweries and distilleries. Main St. Boerne, TX is just 10 minutes away, and hosts a number of art galleries, festivals and community events. The downtown shopping, dining and walkability is superb there. Boerne's wonderful walking trail, know as the Hill Country Mile, winds past a number of local hot spots. Boerne City Lake is west of I-10 and is open to the public for a fee. Within 30 minutes is Comfort, Fredericksburg, Bandera, Blanco and San Antonio. New Braunfels is just an hour away. A number of county and state parks are also nearby. Don't miss Joshua Creek Park, Cibolo Nature Center, Sisterdale, Patrick Heath Library and River Road in downtown Boerne.

I'm a native Texan living in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Definitely a dream-come-true lifestyle. I've traveled internationally staying primarily in homes (my two favorite destinations are Romania and India), and I've had the privilege of hosting internationals in my home over the years, too. Nothing like seeing your Texas/America through the eyes of those from another culture. What a great privilege and an expanded opportunity to meet new people now that I'm an Airbnb host myself, using my adorable tiny (Luxury) house for my guests. I travel several times a year, but if I can stay in comfortable, homey environment over a "sterile" hotel environment, I'll choose it every time.

While travel is a favorite pastime, my hobby is pottery. I work primarily on the wheel making functional pieces, but I seem to enjoy most all mediums. If I have a creative outlet, I'm happy. I also recharge in nature, so home is my seven acre ranchettte with a thriving population of wildlife spotted around me daily. While it feels a million miles away from the chaos, I'm actually just 10 minutes from hometown Main St. It just doesn't get much better!
