Small village located along the Great River Road between LaCrosse and Genoa WI.
We are a getaway for families and individuals of all ages who enjoy relaxing near water, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hunting, or anyone looking for serenity in a laid back small town atmosphere. The breathtaking sunsets over the river are a fabulous way to call it a day! The local park offers ballfields, tennis courts, playground and facilities for rent for family and friend reunions and gatherings. The Stoddard islands, built by the Army Core of Engineers, have created an area of the river is known by locals to be excellent fishing. Spring is a great time for fishing walleye below the Genoa Dam. Whether it is Perch or pan fishing, large and small mouth Bass or Northern Pike, year round fishing can't get any better anywhere else. Catfishing is popular throughout spring, summer, and fall. Ice fishing is a big winter time draw. The Stoddard VFW, Lion's Club and local Firehouse host several fishing tournaments throughout the year. We are known for some of the best fishing and hunting in Southwest Wisconsin.

My family enjoys all outdoor recreational activities. Growing up and living next to the river has made for a lot of fishing, boating and duck hunting. In the winter time the ice fishing is top notch.
