The Lingthem Lyang Homestay is blessed with picturesque views of the mighty Kanchenjunga Mountain and surrounded by paddy fields and cardamom groves, guarded by the lofty Himalaya Mountains and hills, and many beautiful cold streams gushing down as waterfalls. It showcases the fine features of traditional Lepcha architecture. It is a small and modest wooden house, beautiful and cozy. It provides Eco-friendly tours, a peaceful ambiance which will make your stay enjoyable and worthwhile.

The space
Dzongu offers a beautiful environment where one can relax and purify their mind. Our Homestay is situated in a serene location, surrounded by beautiful rice paddy fields and guarded by the lofty mountains, stiff hills & beautiful streams. Our Homestay aims to provide eco-friendly tours where travellers can enjoy a real taste of the Lepchas culture, customs, and language while participating in various activities.
Our Homestay offers a range of activities, and guests can be as active as they want while holidaying with us. Guests can simply unwind and enjoy the peaceful northern Sikkim countryside, participate in moderate to challenging treks, or learn more about the daily life of the Lepcha people, including the opportunity to learn about and prepare the local cuisine. Your visit to our Homestay includes the services of local guides who can lead you on hikes to the local hot springs, waterfalls, lake, monastery and scenic viewpoints. We want out guests to explore the unexplored beauty of Dzongu and experiences the people who are part it.

This is myself, Sangdup Lepcha, your facilitator, and contact, for the home stay. I hold a degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management. I am very good with communication skills and very friendly. I am easy going and love to talk with new people.
I love to make sure that you are comfortable and fully pampered by our care, affection, and assistance in everything that you wish to do at the home stay. I love my vocation so much that I may forget to eat my food, and hence I am fit and fast to be available for you round the clock.
When I am not doing anything I love to play with the young guests. And I can be a modest player for any game.
In addition to running the Lingthem Lyang Homestay, I am also a representative of the Dutch Fund for the Children of Sikkim, a Dutch-Sikkimese non-profit organization that sponsors the education of Sikkimese children from low income families. As an alum of this program, I am proud to have the opportunity to support the organization
