Traditional Finnish cottage at beautiful lake Tarjanne 1 h 20 min drive from Tampere.

Electricity and heating system. Traditional outdoor toilet. Main building renovated 2020, having a brand new kitchen and living room, where 2-3 persons sleep. Water must be carried from the well. Gas and wood bbq.

Very good sauna, rowboat and a pier.

For the real Finnish experience, our dear cottage for you to stay and enjoy! Note! No pets allowed.

The space
Main building (sleeps 2-3 persons): Well equipped kitchen (stove/oven, fridge, coffeemaker, electric kettle, dishes, pots and pans), a living room with fireplace and two sofas (can be turned into double beds).

Sauna building: Sauna room (with cauldron to heat the water), dressing room with one bed. Note, no shower, water must be carried from the spring.

Bedroom/little cottage (sleeps 4 persons) has two bunk beds.

Besides there are: outdoor toilet, BBQ spot, a beach and a pier.

Hi! I love travelling, and I always want to do things the locals are doing. I've used Airbnb many times while travelling, and it's a great way to get to know new people. I'm offering accommodation just to provide the tourists Finnish experiences in natural environment. Besides travelling, I love cross country skiing. Many of the trips combine those two. I can guide the tourists to local sports (orienteering, national park walks etc) within our sport club called "Ursprungsland Biathlon Team".
