The space
Maciej and Julia. We know each other since childhood. Almost twenty years together, half of it in Szafranki, a village embracing the river Rospuda. We have three children. Active and sportive life has been around for decades, infecting other people. The last four years we are looking for our path by volunteering for sports projects and taking part in competitions. We also promote running in our hometown, Suwalki. We know that running on time is only important for a moment. What matters most is the relationships they make between people who share sports and the beauty of nature. We know that there are more of us. Welcome to us.

Szafranki, Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland

The area where we live is the most diversified region of the country, within a radius of 10 kilometers you will find:
five lakes with clean water,
the Rospuda river, suitable for kayaking,
silence and peace of mind (maybe outside the harvest period).
Within 20 - 60 minutes of driving (without traffic jams - hurray !!) we have:
Suwalki Landscape Park, the oldest landscape park in Poland, with a beautiful post-glacial relief, terrain differences up to 300 meters and a mecca of divers - the deepest lake in the country - Hańcza.
Wigry National Park, the largest national park in Poland, over 190 km of cycling and walking paths, forests, lakes, sails, canoes, boats, etc ...
The Biebrza National Park, the valley of the Biebrza River, a mud-water complex of water communities, which can be drained by a comfortable raft, which allows observation of birds living in this area and moose.
The Rominck Forest
The Augustów Forest
and other attractions.
The border crossing to Lithuania is very close (many interesting attractions, without a passport - the Schengen area) and to Russia.
Say what you are looking for - we will advise you on what to see.
We are also happy to use the guide for family trips, we will plan cross-country and bicycle routes for your arrival.
